All students seeking financial aid at Temple University must apply by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning October 1st.

In order to qualify, you must be an admitted student that meets the FAFSA eligibility requirements.
Temple's annual FAFSA priority deadline is February 1st for all undergraduate students. The filing deadline is essential for student's eligble to receive grant funding.
Types of Financial Aid
If you meet Temple's priority deadline by having a complete FAFSA application on file with Temple (family contribution calculated), you will be considered for the following financial aid if available funding exists:
- Federal Pell Grant
- Pennsylvania State Grant (if you are a resident of the state of Pennsylvania and have completed all requirements, see www.pheaa.org)
- Temple University Grant*
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant *
- Federal Direct Loan(s)
- Federal Work Study
